Description: This is a work in progress. The theme of this sculptural artwork is the connection of neighborhoods throughout the city that the light rail facilitates. This flow through the city will be suggested by the dynamic angles of the sculpture, as well as by the gradual shift of colors across the surface. Aluminum forms will frame handmade tiles that have architectural and domestic references impressed into them, creating a variety of textures. The sculptural design will span the wall from side to side in varying heights and depths, gradually become more dimensional and faceted toward the middle.  The light will play on these angled surfaces of the form.
